Sure is nice weather here in eastern Ontario lately. Highs around 6-10 degrees for the past couple weeks. Supposed to be 10 today, a little rain tomorrow with a high of 4, then highs between 10 and 14 for the rest of the week! Pretty soon we'll be out golfing eh Joe. :D

Gonna go to Ottawa today to smash a bucket of balls.

My oldest daughter and her family picked me up this morning (cause my poor old Dodge is tres malade) and we headed for the sugar bush outside of Spencerville for pancakes and maple syrup. Weather is just great. LONG LIVE the Green House Affect! ;)

And for my neighbors to the south who swelter in the summer effects of the Green House thing and ponder on the negative aspects of it, try living in -40 C temps (-40 C = -40 F if you didn't already know) through the winter and shovel 10 feet of snow, then try and tell me Green Housing is a terrible thing! ;)

Today wasn't really as warm as I thought it was going to be, dang northeast wind at about 30 km/h all afternoon. My buddy and I were outside all day, took the fish shack apart and put it on the trailer. I brought my 4 wheeler home from his grandfathers place, he brought his sled home. It would have been nice if it wouldn't have been windy probably. Then it started raining. At this rate with the wind, rain and warm temperatures the ice will be off the lakes in no time. The center of the Ottawa River is open now here in the Arnprior area, our shack would be floating if it was still out there.
