muggs
when you consider how weak 3b is this year, Beckham in the 7th is fine with me. ****, I trade away half my picks every year and I've won this thing, which is something 8 of you guys can't say. Besides, I just kept him off one of your rosters for the next three seasons, didn't I?
c_lou
I don't think that the 7th round qualifies for a keeper. FAIL!!
muggs
I don't think that the 7th round qualifies for a keeper. FAIL!! Ummm...what? Who said it did? Go back and read the discussion, more slowly this time, and definitely with more care. Anyway, I texted John to let him know it was his pick but I haven't heard back yet. muggs
I'm going to take Billy Wagner with my next pick, I feel like I'm missing out on something here.
MCH
Billy Wagner would be in line with Capps and Wilson.
muggs
Billy Wagner would be in line with Capps and Wilson. They get me 30+ saves, I'll be a happy camper. Anyway, Brian Wilson is Joel Zumaya without the hype and without the arm problems. Kid throws gas and he'll be closing games, which is something Zumaya probably won't ever do.:serenade:
MCH
You know you ain't fooling noone. You know you screwed up last year when you had to use keeper picks on closers. And now you're joking around about other guys picking up closers. It's easy to dish it out.....pretty hard to take it, I guess.

Matt Garza, Ubaldo Jimenez...and I have no problem taking a young closer like Soria or Wilson with a keeper pick. I don't see why I should. Now, taking David Ardasma...that I wouldn't do. I did have to waste a keeper on Capps last year, but it was late in the draft.
VABuckSlayer
I'm basically drafting a whole new team. We'll see how this one works out for me.

The only problem I see, is that you should be the last person calling someone out for making dumb picks in the keeper rounds.:D I'm keeping Grienke, Kershaw, Cruz and Wieters. BUT I'm not calling anyone out.......except for you.LMAO

I could argue that that pick was about as good as your Grienke pick, considering how much later I took him. Feeling pretty good about my keepers so far too there bud. Scott Baker was my first keeper, which was a good pick, problem there is I didn't want to hang on to him since he was having an average season and knew I could win the league...so far, Ohio has three titles, Okie 0. Looking back on it, I wish I would have hung onto Baker, but my disappointed is curbed since I won the league. Maybe me and Matt should be the ones giving draft advice, huh? MTF
Yeah here's my advice. After I win the Triple Crown this year, Eric needs to take down the internet's largest high resolution photograph of "Dr. Cox" from his profile so we all can avoid scrolling past that obnoxious image in every thread...:nono: BTW, is this the Dikembe Mutumbo emoticon?? :nono:
muggs
is this better?
MTF
hmm, might make scrolling through draft picks a little awkward, but you might be on the right track...
MCH
Vintage Muggsy. The point here is your ragging guys about their picks when yours wasn't too much better. That's always been your deal. Dishing it out but sidestepping anything thrown your way. Sure you won it last year. But throwing in Matt's winning two years and him being from Ohio has NOTHING to do with this argument. All that "Okie" comment was to try to piss me off. Did a pretty good job too. BTW---my keepers may be a mute point. As much BS as I've got to put up with coupled with the little time I spend on RT these days, I may trade all mine at the end of the year and hand it over to the Ohioans. Their the ones that make this league anyway. I'm out.

muggs
Several people today. You want me to send you some Great Lakes brews to take the edge off man? Well, sorry for adding to your troubles today, didn't mean to push you over the edge with all that "Ohio is 3 for 3 talk." Anyway, if I'm giving Matt credit, it should be pretty obvious I'm reaching for points to support my arguement. I NEVER give Matt credit. He could have invented electricity and I'd poo-poo it.
