buckee
We've had robins here for a long time. The first sign of spring I go by is when the swans leave the valley here. Most of them come from Siberia. They haven't left yet.
woolybear
Yep- robins everywhere, tukey vulture soaring yesterday and a few strutters in the fields already.
Tominator
Sunny and warming up here. Hopefully we'll go a few days with no rain so I can do some landscaping on the new ground. As for animal life--saw a bald eagle yesterday soaring over a local resevoir, saw a fox cruising towards the road, saw 2 live and 1 dead ground hog, and 1 deer. Saw all those yesterday. Slash
Spring??? we should have a couple blizzards left yet here Haha yup, lived in this area long enough to know that we always get at least 1 more good snow storm before the end of March. Still expecting that but I hope these temps keep up....53 in Ashland right now.
gzilla45
Hoping and praying we don't have anymore snow here in central WI. I was out on the golf course yesterday and don't want it to close again until October.
rhine16
Seeing spring flowers popping up here, but sure does not feel much like spring yet. Ready for some sunshine and decent temps. Agreed. Turkey hunting in insulated overalls isn't fun. Nor is turkey hunting with the birds gobbling only a couple times a morning.

ruttinbuc
Saw robins all winter, but now they are in the yard feeling for worms. Lots of spring bird chatter. Went on a shed hunt with no luck. I did see a bunch of deer on the way home. No turkeys though...
Swamphunter
we haven't seen a robin yet, but just watched about 300 geese fly overhead!
Shaun_300
No robins here, but the poophawks are back. There's a very popular french fry stand here in Arnprior that Muff might know of, called Wes', supposedly the best french fries in eastern Ontario. It opened up last week. The seagulls LOVE that place, it's like they know when they're opening, because they always show up almost right to the day of them opening. It was beautiful here today! Brought a truck into the shop at around 4:00 this afternoon, the temp read 18C! That's 65F. Darn nice day for March. Came home and got all my lattice work up around the back deck and replaced a couple rotten boards on the deck. I was working with no shirt on!

dbHunterNY
i can't wait to start popping woodchucks and go after some thunder chickens. however, geese flying over head is the one sound that kicks in my fall hunting overdrive. i've been hearing them every morning before work outside and it's making me want to go deer hunting bad. spring isn't even here yet too!
