Bowtech_archer07 Posted March 17, 2010 Report Share Posted March 17, 2010 Well I just received an email informing me that I have been named a Criminal Justice departmental scholar here at Illinois State for the 09-10 school year. I am truly honored to be receiving this award and had no idea it was coming. Here is the description the department gives of the award: Each year the department recognizes a senior in Criminal Justice Sciences who has both the greatest number of class hours taken at Illinois State and whose grade point average is the highest among those students. The department has traditionally recognized two departmental scholars each year, one for a student whose entire career has been at Illinois State and a second for students who transfer into Illinois State Unversity. Recipients of this $100 award will be recognized at the Annual CJS Student Awards Reception in April. I will be the student whose entire career has been at Illinois State.
