coles
Some background info....I live on an acre of land in a trailerhouse and there is another house on the land not 30 yards from my house. Ok this morning my girlfriend came out to my house to watch our dog while i went to class. She text me during class and said that the cops just came to my house looking for my neighbors. She said the cops were walking all around their house looking in the windows cuz they wouldnt come to the door. I left school and came home to talk to the cops but they were already gone by the time i got home. So i called the police department and told them i knew they were home cuz their dogs were now outside and all their cars were there. So the cops came back out and arrested one of them! I dont know what for but i would really like to know to see if its safe for me to live here. I know there are alot of cops on here so ya'll might know. Is there anyway i can look up what she did to see what im dealing with here?
TxBowHunter
I would not be surprised if it had to do with some kind of drugs. But, I hope you and your gf are safe. Just load up a 12 ga.
RangerClay
Our local newspaper and web news has a police blotter. I would start there.
Texan_Til_I_Die
Our county shows the names and charges of everyone who is in the county jail. If they get booked and released, it's a little bit harder, but you can find out.
texastrophies
Kind of hard to tell from the way you wrote it, but if the land is yours just demand to find out from them and if it is not yours, I would talk to the landlord and request that info from him. It may or may not be any of your business depending on what it was for. Could have simply been an outstanding warrant for a traffic ticket. redkneck
It's a public record..... just call a cop and ask him. If someone was actually charged, they'll tell you (unless it's maybe a narc operation). Just my thoughts, we got plenty of LEO's on here that would know. coles
i was looking in the right place but she hadnt been booked yet so it wasnt up. I found it though and she was arrested for failure to appear, fraudulently obtaining dangerous drugs, criminal contempt, and theft. I always sleep with my 41 loaded next to my bed but now i just wanna plain move out but i love it out here. The theft thing worries me more than anything since i have guns, computer, my 4 wheeler, a trailer, and an extra set of tires for my truck that are expensive mud tires. But im really am glad i called the cops back after they left to get her out of here. I just hope they dont know that i told the cops she was home. Hopefully our landlord evicts them. I called him before i found out what she did and he didnt know anything about it. So i guess i should call him and let him know what is going on in his rental house. It goes to show you cant trust anyone and judge them by their appearance. She seemed like a good person and has 4 kids all at least 18 years old that live with her. Its just a shame what people get themselves into.
Prairiepredator
I guess it just goes to show you can't trust everybody...even if they do seem like a decent person.
coles
Its not my property. Right after they took her away, i called my landlord to see if he knew what was going on and he had no idea and didnt even know anything of it. I looked up what fraudulently obtaining dangerous drugs was and from what i found, it had to deal with illegally getting perscription drugs. So maybe thats what the theft is about too. I feel like i should let my landlord know what is going on but i dont want him to blurt out to them that i told him if he evicts them....i dont know what to do. Can some LEO's help me out here and maybe give me a better idea of what these charges are about? Maybe this whole deal isnt any of my business but i feel like i should find out what is going on right next to me.
stevebeilgard
don't sweat it. the 41 says she'll not do well at your house. as for her stealing from you, i doubt that. too close to home for her safety. you like it there, and so does your landlord. stay where you are. 92xj
I was hoping we would have time to guess a little, but noooooooo, got to spit the answer out right away.
Shaun_300
That sucks, with it being that close to your home. But you guys in the States are lucky to be able to have handguns to protect yourself. If we protected ourselves here we'd be locked up for life and be worse off than the thief or murderer.
