RangerClay
Well, sort of... I want to get some black facemasks and clothing for the inside of my ground blind. Unfortunately many of the big name stores sell only camo masks. Where is a good place to get a thin 3/4 cut facemask?
Diamond Archer 01
That is a good idea you have going on there. If you have ever seen the show The Wild Outdoors they have black facemasks on. Maybe Michaels may have fabric like that.
wtnhunt
Pretty sure I have seen solid colored facemasks including black in cabelas catalogs, but do not remember what kind of material they offered them in.

Adjam5
Joe, I was given a long time ago a Black Kevlar full head mask that was meant to be worn with firefighter helmets and masks. It has kept me warm and comfy all these years. Know any firefighters?
RangerClay
Thanks guys! Some really good ideas out there. But I cannot wear these.. I cannot stand having my ears covered. I always use 3/4 masks and a matching hat. I may get a mask like the one above and cut it down. I may give this one a try, http://www.bikersden.com/shop/shopexd.asp?id=2885 Edited April 27, 2010 by RangerClay

For some reason it upsets the folks at the Quick Stop when I wear it in there.

dbHunterNY
Face paint to me is too messy. Also I hate being restricted so I usually have facemasks that are mesh. I've only seen them in camo. I've contemplated just getting dye at a crafts store and dying a couple black. Then I think if you wash them with a little vinegar in the wash it will set the dye so it doesn't bleed. What do you think of that Joe? Oh yea... another thing I thought about taking black electrical tape and putting it down the front edge of my bows camo riser too. GWSmith
Go Ninja with a $6 black t-shirt from WalMart...or a square yard of fabric for even less;) A pair of scissors on the seams and you have plenty of fabric for facemasks:ninja: LOL...You can buy an entire costume online if you want to for around $40 shipped. Randy
Do you have a Army Surplus store or a place that sells tactical gear by you Joe? I have a few of the black balaclavas for the Swat team at work.
