Alisha
Here's my spoiled rotten brat of a chocolate lab, April.... sunbathing on the kitchen floor. I can't post just one.. so here is another one I took of her yesterday on her first fishing trip with us on the bass boat. She's just a couple days shy of 8 months old. GWSmith
Here is a pic of our dog when she was still in the pound before we adopted her. Now with the right food, room to run around, and people who spoil her rotten...her neck has grown to about the size of her head but it's all muscle. She's added 20lbs from this picture and it looks like she's on steroids from the muscle build up!

coles
My girlfriend wants an airedale. I wouldnt mind having one. Seems like it would be a good dog to take along big game hunting if it was properly trained to stay close and with hand signals.

Energetic dogs. But she was also a great family pet. I will always have an airedale. My parents have had airedales since they were kids and this is the third one for the family since I have been around. They do make great family dogs but are always VERY protective of the family and take some time to warm up to new/strange people. They are very adventurous and try anything. I would highly recommend one for any type of use. Insanely smart so training for anything would not be a problem. The only con is they can get some wicked attitudes!!! Its actually kind of funny seeing her mood swings of happy and joyful to pissed off at you because you left ot go to the store or didnt give her your full attention. All in all, if you want a good family dog that is VERY protective of the household and family, a dog that is super smart and trainable, a dog that doesnt shed at all, but you do have to trim/shave once everyother month, an airedale is for you. Ashley
These two think they own everything, including the bed. Thumper is the orange one, and Dixie is the gray one. Thumper will be 18 in June and Dixie will be 15 in May. Everyone else has posted pictures of their dogs, but I didn't see anywhere on here that said I couldn't post pictures of the cats (since they ARE my four legged friends!). I don't have a dog anymore, though, so no pup for me to to post pictures of Edited March 24, 2010 by Ashley

Nathan It's okay, I just felt like I was violating this thread because everyone else had dogs and I posted cats Someday, I'd love to get a lab or some type of lab mix.
