stevebeilgard
I need a bunch of treehugging liberals down in the major cities to vote clowns like Space, Kaptur, Kilroy, and their ring leader Kucinich out of office next time they're up for election. i think this will actually happen, starting this fall. m gardner
The thing that really frosts me is that they ruined the San Jaquine valley and put 40,000 people out of work because some sorry tree huggers got an injunction and stopped the flow of irrigation water. Seems a 2 inch minnow was being harmed. No amount of begging or political manuvering could get a drop of water to flow. Two representatives from the area changed their votes to yes and they immediately got 20% of the water back. This is wrong. There's two guys at work who are so worked up their ears and faces are permanantly red and they won't talk anymore about it. I've never seen such a thing in my lifetime. This isn't going to end very well I believe. Mark
HappyCamperKitteh
I dunno. I'm a strong supporter of the bill. Maybe I'm weird. I suppose I like the idea of having open heart surgery and not having to pay upwards of $30,000 because $300 for insurance is a struggle. It isn't a perfect bill, but it's a wait and see. Everyone can keep their insurance if they're satisfied.

Everyone can keep their insurance if they're satisfied. Welcome to the forums. Lots of problems with this "wait and see" idea you are suggesting. Do you really trust these politicians, those same politicians who are running this country in the ground, to get your healthcare right? At what expense does it become right? Is it right for the quickly shrinking middle class to be being squeezed so tight they are struggling to pay their bills, yet they will be taxed more to support this and other liberal programs, those folks barely making it now who Obama promised he would not raise their taxes, just so you can have an open heart surgery and not expect to pay for it? Our youngest daughter had to have an emergency tonsillectomy last summer on fathers day weekend, the surgery was probably avoidable, but our family doctor failed enormously when we had her in his office and misdiagnosed her. We are still paying those bills, and we do have insurance. Our 8 year old has had to have a couple surgeries as a result of a condition she has where she grows cysts in her chest(we Thank God that she does NOT have cancer), still pretty scary stuff though and even with insurance we have paid thousands of dollars in medical bills, not to mention we have paid tens of thousands in insurance premiums. I agree that healthcare needs looked at, and the excessive failures and frivolous lawsuits that in the long run are costing those of us who pay for it need to curbed somehow, but I simply do not believe that this administration has the best interest of my children, myself or any taxpayers at heart, if they did they would take the same plan that they are trying to pawn off. Do you think it is right for those you suggest to "keep their insurance" and also pay for everyone else's, including illegals who are not even supposed to be here who pay nothing at all? m gardner
There hasn't been an improvement here. My wife's on Medicare. The Mayo Clinic stopped accepting Medicare and many of the doctors are limiting their number of medicare patients because they won't be able to stay in business acceprting too many with the cuts. My employer has 20 employees so he may just let us get our own benefits becuase complying with the regs will be too much of a hardship. Then I won't be able to afford insurance and will be fined and jailed. Not a pretty situation. Mark
