Squirrelhunter91
My DXT is now 2 years old and I'd like to replace the string and cables on it. Could I probably get another season out of this set? Yea probably. But I'd like to change them anyway. Anyone have any suggestions? I don't want Winners Choice or any mass produced brand. Had Winners Choice strings on my Ross CR331 & they went on me in a single season. I've heard alot of good things about BuckNasty Strings and personally, I like his halo serving at no extra charge. I've been poking around Archery Talk for the last hour and theres just so much to read there, hopefully you guys can help me decide.

AdvantageTimberLou
Ruth is right, John aka Bucknasty makes a great set of strings. Lots of color combinations too!
bowin_in_illinois
A couple other custom stringmakers to consider are: Crackers custom strings Stage 1 custom strings
ParsonsOutdoors
Check out www.vaportrailarchery.com/ Great strings at a great price. They have an app where can see up to 156 different color combinations to make your choice easier.
tedicast
I know i am the minority, but I had nothing but trouble with bucknasty's stings and cables. After 2 sets that were far from perfect and John gave me a refund. I know it sounds like i'm plugging them for my own benifit, as I'm a staff shooter for them, but VaporTrail strings are top notch. Their customer service is awesome. If you call with your order tomorrow, you will have it on Friday or Saturday. I've been on Vapor Trails Staff for the past few months, but I have been shooting VT's exclusively for the past 6 years. I only apply ofr staff on product that I have used and proven to be a good product. If you want more info, pm me and I will give you my phone number to contact me. wtnhunt
Should have went with bucknasty for my new strings and cables last fall, but gave a different custom stringmaker a chance, price was about the same. Next strings I buy will come from bucknasty.
