Bob LeBlanc
Word came to me last night of the death early Monday morning of a young man whom my son used to play hockey with, and I coached. He was 18, the same age as my son. The details of what actually happened are unknown, but the car he was passenger in failed to make a corner on the road...and caught on fire. Robert was trapped inside. Perhaps a bit too much speed...very probably heavy fog. Robert's father and I attended school together. Years ago, a man in a similar circumstance told me, " A father should never have to bury his son." I just can't imagine..... Hug your kids today. Life is ever fleeting.
