Turkeygirl
I've been shooting with a TruBall Cyclone for a few years now...TruBall makes a nice release, good customer service, besides being someone what a relgious affiliation. Anyway had been thinking for some time about picking up a second release...Wanted to have a spare in my pack "just in case". I also was finding the web strap on my cyclone over time when shooting stretched out...sometimes my finger would slip off the trigger. Well Gander Mountain yesterday had a few TruBalls marked down...I picked up a TruBall Super Hornet for $60...I really liked how short it adjusted it and the more "solid feel" in my hand compared to the web strap. So this may become the #1 and the other may go in my back as a back-up just in case...or vice versa. I can't wait to try it out.
ruttinbuc
I tried and liked the TruBall short and sweet for my string loop. I liked the Scott Little Goose better though. I have two of those. Smart to have a backup release. You just never know.

AdvantageTimberLou
I love my Tru Ball release Ruth! They are awesome, I am partial to the Short N Sweets myself. Glad you like shooting them too, congrats on the great deal!
Flintlock1776
I have to check what I am using. I've been using it for so many years and it holds up real well. I suppose there are some benefits to a new release but I have not had any issues I noticed to make me look for a new now. Guys like me would make a manufacturer starve due to lack of repeat sales:saber:

woolybear
If I had a dollar for every time I grabbed my bow and walked out the door without putting on my release....I could've bought a back-up to keep in my pac. Good idea on having 2 for that reason alone to me.

I've had one drop from my stand when I was putting it one and the back up came in handy for me.not the deer:jaw:
