12-point
what is the best choke and constriction for a 935 mossburg???
punkinslinger
Depends what ammo you are using. I shoot a 935 with a Pure Gold .670 choke and use Hevi 3.5" 2.25 oz 6 shot (bronze hull) and am getting 230 bbs in a 10" circle at a lasered 37 yards. Flintlock1776
Don't over choke your gun. You may need to go through several choke/ammo configurations to get what works best for you. I did, I have a collection of chokes! The Primos Jelly Head .690 works best in my Mossberg 835 Ultimag shooting 3/12" Hevi Shot. Good luck with your gear. JimT
I use a xxx full Comp-N-Choke with #5 Winchester Supreme 3" ammo. Nice tight groups.
PA_RIDGE_RUNNER
The best pattern is not dependent on the type of shotgun but has all to do with the length of shell, type of shot, and shot size. I use 3 inch mags with #6 copper coated lead shot and get my best patterns from a Comp-n-choke with a very tight .655 restriction. That works very well in my Win 1300 black shadow. Slugger
Mad Supermax hevishot tube is what patterns best in my 835, I cant see the 935 being much different
Leo
I highly recommend you call a major choke manufacturer and get their recommendation for your gun. Recommended constrictions vary per choke manufacturer and load. A .655 choke might be overchoked for one manufacturer and may be perfect for another. I like www.gobblerguns.com they will recommend and work with you to get the best patterns.
