lol so on my 01 ram 318 5.2l i was doing a tune up. got the cap and wires off switched out the rotor etc. all left to do is get the plugs out. simple right? nope. on the driver side head the 2 plugs closest to the radiator i got out with no problem. now the 2 closest to the fire wall look like theres alot of corrosion in the plug tube and i can barely get them to turn. i dont want to snap one off in the head. i dont know if while off-roading some water got in there and the rust and corrosion is just being a pain. im only 5k miles overdue for the tune up. never had this problem with plugs before. oh and i didnt even try the plugs in the other head yet. Let me know what you think Shaun. Thanks in ahead.

Go to a parts store and get some AC Delco Penetrating Fluid, there's a pic of it in my torsion bar thread. That stuff works wonders. Spray the heck out of the plug tubes and let them sit for a while. Loosen the plugs up so the fluid can get down the threads too, and work them out and in while spraying them in between. They'll come, just gotta take your time and be patient.

Sounds like a Ford 5.4L, those things are a REAL pain in the rear end to change spark plugs.
