Diamond Archer 01
This is our second 3 D shoot this year, West Winfield, N.Y. Steve (Bow Hunter Steve) beat both my dad and I. We had fun. A little cold and windy though. Edited March 29, 2010 by Diamond Archer

Straight Shooter
Cool pictures Tyler. I iwsh we could have cameras on the courses here, they made them illegal to have on a course a couple of years back.
stcif
Cool pictures Tyler. I iwsh we could have cameras on the courses here, they made them illegal to have on a course a couple of years back. Just wondering why cameras were made illegal.
Straight Shooter
Not to get to far :offtopic:but, they can be used as a tool for cheating. yes, it happens and there are individuals that will do it just to win a shoot. Scenario, one person shoots the first day of a shoot taking pictures on some of the tougher shots and getting distances. Low an behold, their best friend is shooting the next day and has all ready seen most of the course before getting on it. We've even caught individuals going onto a course a day or two before the scheduled shoot days and laser range every target writing the distances down somewhere on the stake they are shooting from. It toatally amazes me the extent that people will go to just to get a win or recognized.:jaw:
ruttinbuc
Seems like honesty went the way of the passenger pigeon everywhere you look these days....If i wasn't keeping score in competition there is no one telling me I can't carry a camera or binoculars for that matter. Straight Shooter
It truly takes a desperate individual to go to these extremes just to make a name for themselves but like you said it everywhere and that is sad. I'd love to take a camera on the course and get some pictures of my son and me shooting, it is a great tool for telling on your shootin gform as well, especially on sloped shots and standing on banks or hills. stcif
Cheating? I never would have dreamed a camera would be used like that. On the topic of cheating, we score our own cards. What's to prevent me from getting all 10's then? Like I said on the other post, we shoot for fun, and even if it was a competition, I couldn't look anyone in the eyes if I had to cheat for the victory. Peace of mind is priceless and the win much more worth it to do it the right way, not to mention the morals and ethics involved. I plan on getting more pics from future shoots. I really need to make sure there is no problems with that at the clubs.
Straight Shooter
The pen is mightier than the sword! Clubs around here, you do not score your own card. If it's a circuit shoot, there is supposed to be someone in the group that isn't from the same club shooting with you. There are two cards, two score keepers,, and all shooters must be at the target during the arrow removal and scoring.
