dave meehan
I got a 311 20 gauge from my father inlaw who passed away,it's in pretty bad shape and I'm redoing it.I bought a new spring kit from brownells and when i took out the mainsprings and plungers there were two small washers under the mainsprings.Every book and drawing i have does not have these washers shown anywhere.Does anyone think these were origanal or added to try to tighten up the springs? THe kit I bought did not come with these that's why I'm thinking they were added. If anyone has any knowledge about these gun's any Info would help.Thank you. RangerClay
Dave, I don't have your answer but I know where you can get it if no one here has it. Go to http://www.sassnet.com/forums/ these guys work on double barrel shotguns ALL the time. I guarantee you will get an answer there.
