Bose headphones...

I made a post a few years back about headphones, and I remember a few of you said you owned some made by Bose. Well I'm tired of paying 15-20 every 6 months for a new pair of cheap headphones, so I am going to just go ahead and get a set of Bose. If you have a pair, which ones do you have? I really want the noise canceling pair, but I cringe every time I see the $300 price tag. But, I use headphones A LOT and I think the noise canceling ones would be great when on the lawn mower so they might be worth it. I have also thought about the in-ear set, anyone have these? how do they fit? are they as comfortable and the regular pairs of in ear headphones? I have been using skullcandy's and other than being a low price, they are extremely comfortable and though they are not noise canceling, they work pretty good in blocking a lot of noise out.

So, if you have Bose, what do you have and how do you like them?

Before you drop the bucks on Bose check out Able Planet. ZDNET and CNET both rate them as good as or better than Bose for less bucks. I have the NC500SC with the active noise cancelling. The nice thing about the Able Planet is that even if the noise cancelling is turned off or the batteries for the noise cancelling go dead the headphones still work. I paid about $135.00 for mine including shipping. The same seller I bought mine from has a set on EBAY now for $113.00 plus shipping.
