colorado bob
I just watched Eastman's Hunting Journal. He has a donut on his barrel just above the forearm. It's not an anchor point for a sling because it's anchored in the stock. What is it? And what is it for? CB

coles
Ive seen alot of guys on TV using them but never personally seen anyone use one in the field. Personally i dont like they way they look and would rather tweak my groups with handloads but i guess to each his own.
PA_RIDGE_RUNNER
I have one on my 7mm mag. It shoots well without it but when I put it on I shot a three shot group at a measured 100 yds and had 2 holes overlapping and the other was less than half an inch away needless to say I have not taken it off since. dbHunterNY
I don't handload. Thought about getting one. Not sure. I've got more hunting stuff then I know what to do with. lol
