Goinghuntin
Finally broke down and bought my own .22. Yep, done using my old man's gun. Savage Mark II bolt action (love those bolt actions ) I only have a 10-round clip for it now, that's all I could find at the time. Wanna get a 25-rounder Nathan
Shaun_300
Nice gun man, congrats!! I had a Savage .22 similar to that, it was a semi and had the wood stock. Shot nice but I sold it to my cousin. Now I have a Remington 597 with the heavy barrel and laminated stock with a 3-9x32 on it.
Goinghuntin
I almost bought a Marlin semi-auto last Saturday, but I'm glad I waited and got this Savage instead. The Marlin, could have just been me being picky, seemed kinda chintzy. Nathan
Jeramie
.22lr is one of my all time favorite rounds. They are accurate, fun, and you can shoot all day on about $10. Take good care of it and it will make a good rifle for years to come!

hunterbobb
Congrats on the new rifle. I am 53 years old, I still have the 22 I bought on my 18th birthday. It is still like new. I haven't shot it for awhile so I think I'll take it out this weekend. :gun2:
