Do you keep a loaded mag in your Gun?

If I lived alone and if I owned any firearms, here's the ones I would keep loaded:

9mm in the arm storage area of my recliner

357 in a holster that mounts to the side of my bed

12 ga riot shotgun next to my bed

22 automatic in the bathroom drawer

22 mag revolver in kitchen drawer

SKS with a few thousand rounds where it will never be found

But all of my guns were lost in that tragic fire that's about to happen.

Yes, I keep the gun loaded, but nothing in the pipe. I do change the rounds to a different mag every few days to keep the springs tight.

I don't think it hurts to keep the mags loaded, I have always heard it is best to load the mag to it's capacity and load the top rond in the chamber. If you are storing empty load the mag 1 down from capacity. It's supposed to be better for the springs.
