Scopes

I've had some experience with the BSA Red Dot site a few years ago. And a site that's doesn't cost that much, won't hold up to the constant pounding of 3" turkey loads. They are very fragile compared to a better quality optic site. Bottom line you get what you pay for. Personally, I'd rather go with a scope.

I bought one from bp just like that, I didnt like the small sight window and not very much magnafication. If you buy it, sight it in at 20yrds with regular bird shot then make adjustments. Dont use the expencive turkey loads, until you get the dot in the center of the pattern. Then move out to 30 or 40 yrds. But keep in mind that 30yds through that red dot wont look the same as a regular scope! Thats my 2cents, Good Luck!

I have been using Bushnell Holo Sight for many, many years. It makes a big difference.

I'll 2nd that!! I have them on both of my turkey guns. Much larger field of view than a red dot or scope and unlimited eye relief. Also, when I checked mine for zero before our season opened it was still dead on from last year.

I take it to the range every year. I can't recall the last time I had to fiddle and re-set anything! It has to be a few years and several Toms later too!
