Tim Andrus
Its been tried before and never happened ! But what about a Realtree get together any ideas gladly appreciated. Can be a hunt, fishing trip etc. I know the broad expanse of members and then the cost of it all and so on. But I think its something that could start small and grow. A chance to meet fellow members in a outdoor setting. Any ideas,proposals/?? would like to see it happen...
brad dryden
I think maybe like a boar hunt or a turkey hunt would be great. The hunts are fairly cheap and you get group discounts and such. I would be very interested in it.
Diamond Archer 01
Maybe like a big 3D shoot or something like that. I would go if it isnt real far away from where I live.
Tim Andrus
What I thought is maybe do a eastern ,midwest and west meet. That way in wouldnt incur big money for someone flying across country.. Any input??
Diamond Archer 01
Sounds like a good idea Tim.
Muleyman
That kinda sucks because I am far away from everyone.
dbHunterNY
I think it's possible. What would we be doing? lol I'll shoot anything I can get my hands on, but also if there's something with a view to do a hike/educational/camping thing that'd be alright too. Maybe there's a place to do both?

texastrophies
There have been a few RT get togethers of different types over the years. Some successful, some not. Get one setup and there will always be atleast a few to show up.

RTPROFamily
Antelope hunting at Steve B.'s in WY. has always been a great Realtree get together. Randy met so many members over the years there and considers all of them his good friends. We still talk and call many of them on the phone. It is always a good time for all! ruttinbuc
Lebanon, KS is the geographical center of the US. Not a whole lot out there, but sunflowers deer and turkey. The point is anything anywhere is a haul for someone from somewhere. I always thought a turkey hunt in Missouri would be a great thing to do. It is somewhere close to the middle, but still pretty far for those who don't live in the Midwest.

Strut10
We're planning an OTPG Summer Boomfest/Realtree Forums GTG on a Saturday this year..........maybe in late June or July. Figured that folks might be better able to travel farther for a Saturday event than the usual Sundays like we've done. There's also room enough to pitch a tent or park an RV right at the range area. The OTPG events we've held so far have always been loads of fun. Last fall we added grillin' to the day's festivities and the grill was the 2nd most popular hangout (the benchrest is always 1st) of the day. A few pics of our day.
