mossyhorn
I have got to admit this is the sweetest bow have seen. I am not prepared to spend $1500 on a bow but man it looks good. Anybody shooting one?
Diamond Archer 01
I have never shot one but I have heard real good things about them. And it is a pretty cool lookin bow.

mossyhorn
well i figured the hoyt guys would be all over this one.....I am giving them props.
redkneck
Havent shot one, I think it's total overkill though. The $1600 bow will drop in value fast and hard just like most every other bow. Just my 2 cents. Don't get me wrong, it is a big step in the sure-to-come future bow designs, but for me to shell out that kind of cash, I gotta see some MAJOR performance gains..... but they'll come eventually. My girls are now playing softball with a composite bat that was over $300. You can see the ball fly off the bat and all the kids are consistently hitting them in the outfield (ten year olds) and it really is amazing where material technology has come in the last few years. hutchies
I've shot it............although cool and tough it ain't worth the bread. I still like the Alphamax 35 better.
Muleyman
I am not gonna lie, I dont really like the look of them but I have started too like them a little more. They sure so look like a tough and nice shooting bow tho. I would kinda like to shoot one and see what I think tho.
ChrisSeb53
I have not shot one simply because there really is NO way I am willing to drop 1,500 on a bare bow... another thing I saw in my hoyt owners manual "kinda universal" the section that was about the matrix said that small cracks on the riser (about a mm or so or something like that) are common things after use of the bow and should not be worried about.. I don't know about you guys but I am NOT convinced that cracks on ANY riser shouldn't be worried about
camoman1
I would like to shoot one, but I dont care how nice it is, no way Im putting out that kind of money for one. My AM32 shoots like a dream for me anyways, no reason for me to change anytime soon.

Squirrelhunter91
I haven't shot one yet but I have held one. I really like the way the bare bow balances. The weight is distributed very nicely. However, I did shoot a Maxis 35 and well I may aquire one... :bang:
Ohiobucks
I'm a huge Hoyt fan, but I can honestly say that I would have a hard time coughing up $1,600.00 for a bare bow. You could buy almost three Maxxis bows for that. I don't buy junk for my hobbies, but I don't have money growing on trees either, the family still needs to eat. Turkeygirl
Nope, haven't shot one. Probably won't shoot any new bow till I am out looking for a new bow, my 06 Hoyt serves me just well. $1500 is rediculous anyway....lol
Tony
1500? there are some out there with prices quite a little bit lower than that. Tony
russell4214
I have shot the bow and I did not like it. Although It was smoother then most wheel bows that I have shot. When given the option I bought the Falcon by Oneida it cost me 1,400 but man I love this bow!!!! I think the next generation of carbon bows that hoyt brings out will be perfect but they are not there yet in my opinion. :boxing:
Tony
orderd the Hoyt Carbon Matrix this morning, im just impressed with how well it shoots and how absolutely quiet it is. i havent had a new hunting bow in 7 years. ive bought a few used ones, but nothing new for a hunting bow in a long time. i cant wait for it to come in and for me to set it up. Osceola Slayer
I have got to admit this is the sweetest bow have seen. I am not prepared to spend $1500 on a bow but man it looks good. Anybody shooting one? I've shot it, it's a great bow. $1500? No. In fact, my dealer's retail is way lower than that, but that's neither here nor there. If you like it and want it, it's the best Hoyt makes (all around). Alphamax mid-upper range, Hawk's are great bows for the money. All in what your wife will allow you to spend. It is however cool to see all bow manu's innovating to the fullest. Mathews, Bowtech, PSE with the Omen and Supershort, Hoyt, everybody's one upping each other. I currently shoot a DXT and General, but currently usually changes about every other week. Tony
Two words HAND SHOCK!!!! maxis 35 half the money twice the bow sorry, but i dont shell out 1300+ for a bow that has hand shock. if it did have hand shock, i wouldnt buy it. besides the Maxxis 31 and 35, Alphaburner, Vicxen, Alphamax 31 and 35 all look the same to me. i dont want a bow that looks like all the others, i want a one of a kind, first time ever Hoyt that is dead in my hand, super quiet, smooth drawing, light, decent speed and just sweet looking. the demo bow i shot was so smooth to draw, and with my Bomar stabilizer on it and a 431 gr arrow that bow was dead and i mean i didnt even know it went off until i heard the arrow hit the target. just what would you pay for a bow thats one of a kind and a first year edition from Hoyt. from how good they are selling, i dont think many people arent turned off by the price tag.
