Pinwheel5
Tony, you will love it. I got mine a few months ago and it still impresses me. It is the quietest, most shock free bow I have ever shot. With the long riser and as stiff as it is it holds like a 40" target bow. Good luck with it and hope you like it as much as I do.
Osceola Slayer
sorry, but i dont shell out 1300+ for a bow that has hand shock. if it did have hand shock, i wouldnt buy it. besides the Maxxis 31 and 35, Alphaburner, Vicxen, Alphamax 31 and 35 all look the same to me. i dont want a bow that looks like all the others, i want a one of a kind, first time ever Hoyt that is dead in my hand, super quiet, smooth drawing, light, decent speed and just sweet looking. the demo bow i shot was so smooth to draw, and with my Bomar stabilizer on it and a 431 gr arrow that bow was dead and i mean i didnt even know it went off until i heard the arrow hit the target. just what would you pay for a bow thats one of a kind and a first year edition from Hoyt. from how good they are selling, i dont think many people arent turned off by the price tag. Tony You can control the hand shock, which I didn't think was so bad by doing 2 things, first off add 50 grains to the arrow your shooting, and control your form. The only part of your bow hand you want contacting the grip is your upper curl on your hand, and a light wrap with your thumb. You won't might not feel any hand shock after that. If you shoot to light an arrow, any bow is going to have hand shock, you just have to get used to it (if you like the bow) or go to a slower bow or a heavier arrow if it makes you uncomfortable, but your form should correct it. IMHO.

Tony Like you said, somebody like em. They're selling the crap out of em, I think something like 75k to date, so somethings got to be right. But I'm in the same boat, I can get a bow that I like alot better, is alot faster, for a little over half the money. But the matrix will be tweaked for next year, and I think everyone will like it better, There also working hard on getting the price point lower. Just FYI.
