Pine Pollen - Absolute Worst I've ever seen!

The world is coated in yellow dust. Even after a heavy rain Saturday, it's back with a vengeance. Always bad this time of year, but going down a stretch of road, you'd swear someone was burning with the haze in the air. I've never seen it this bad that I can recall.

Anybody else seeing the same thing?

Yep, same over here too John. I was outside the other day and the pollen was so thick it looked like a dust storm was blowing through the neighborhood. Just washed my truck Saturday and it's now yellow. This mess reeks havoc on my eyes.

we get like that every year around here, but the trees are holding on to it right now, every pine tree you see has yellow pods just waiting to explode. and when they do every thing turns yellow.

It's always like that out in the sand barrens. Red pine and Jack pine ..it is just starting up here..when you drop a tree it's like a smoke bomb going off

We are having to deal with oak pollen here, on Easter Sunday it was really high at 40,000 grains per cubic meter. Everything is turning a yellowish green. It will be over in about 2-3 weeks. I am fortunate not to be allergic to it.

We won't see the pine pollen till early June and I can wait. The stuff really sets off my allergies.

Been real bad since the middle of last week here too John. That early morning rain Sunday helped but it didn't take long for the sulfur look to return.
