toddyboman
Augusta looks AMAZING as always! Storms lurking so the afternoon play could be challenging.... Tominator
The media sure is loving it now that Tiger is back. ESPN/Direct TV starts its broadcast off with technical difficulties (at least in my area) and once they get the problems figured out 10 minutes later, who do they show? First shot of the broadcast? Take a wild guess. Nope, not the 3 or 4 guys at the top of the leader board, they show Tiger, who, at the time, was about 5 shots off the lead, and as per usual, it was pretty much the Tiger show from there on out. Don't get me wrong, he did have a good round, but come on................ Looks like better weather for the remainder of the tourney I guess. Should be cool. My new leather recliner is being delivered tomorrow, so I get to watch the rest of it in luxury.
gzilla45
I'm sure glad to see Freddie Couples playing well. He always has and always will be my favorite golfer. I just loved the fact that he was out playing in tennis shoes which I can only assume was to keep the torque down and limit his back pain. Something tells me they will ratchet the course down a little and we won't be seeing so many low scores come this weekend.
muggs
Honestly, I think Augusta's beauty is a little over played. Obviously, it's a beautiful course, but I think you can find courses that look like that all over the country, if you got the money to play them. It's the tradition that does it for me. So many unique features like Amen Corner and what not. The greens are crazy too. Y.E. Yang is my favorite player right now (it always changes), so it's cool to see him up there. I'd love to see Lefty, Tiger, Yang, Watson and Couples still in the hunt on Sunday. I've got the DVR set for all four rounds.
toddyboman
I've been watching/listening on the pc at master.com.....Which has been great! Couples is -1 today thru 7. It is fun to watch the "older" guys still play great golf!
Shaun_300
Missed watching it today, I was at the sportsman's show for most of the afternoon. I'll definitely watch it tomorrow though if I'm back in time. We're planning on golfing tomorrow. I always cheer for Phil!

That was the best Saturday at the Masters I can remember for a long time.
Muff
well I was dumb enough to come in for overtime today so I will not be seeing it today....to bad because it looks like it may be a great last round.

Hope he can win it today. It would be nice to see Lee win too.

muggs
Phil's won me over...the guy is Tin Cup. Talk about stones...that 6 iron from the trees was one of the coolest things I've seen while watching golf. The guy plays fearless. It's bit him in the past, but man, it's fun to watch. Man, I was cursing him a blue streak right before he pulled that off. Sure he pulled it off, but man, that had potential to be disastrous. 2 stroke lead at that point, really no need to try that. But, ecstatic to see an American win it.
muggs
2 stroke lead at that point, really no need to try that. Without question, but it's refreshing to see a guy with the stones to play to win, instead of playing to not lose. Like Tin Cup says, "ride her 'till she bucks 'ya, or don't ride at all." In honor of the Tribe Home Opener...as Tanaka would say, he has very large marbles.

That was an AWESOME shot!!!! That was very cool to see him pull off that victory after all he and his family has been through the past year, great story. I liked watching Couples play also. All in all this was a pretty entertaining Masters. Course looked beautifull as usual.
