bghunter777 Posted May 3, 2010 Report Share Posted May 3, 2010 Im not a fan of 6s the reason many of us use them is for more pellets in the kill zone down range but they lack kinetic energy down range. With the modern choke tubes out there i think 4s out of 3.5 inch guns and 5s out of 3 inch guns are ideal. The newer heavier than lead loads you may be able to get away with a smaller pellet such as 6s but personally i would never go smaller than 5s unless it was in a mixed load such as Nitros.
