Shaun_300
Anyone try one of the Bushnell Yardage Pro GPS golf units? I just bought one off ebay, thought for $110 why not. You download the courses you play into the unit and no matter where you are on the course it'll tell you how many yards you are from the center, back and front of the green. I was out golfing last night and the yardage sticks weren't in some of the fairways so I was constantly guessing and usually I'd be a club too long or short. This oughta take some strokes off. toddyboman
I have saw them.....but never played with them. They look COOL. Let us/me know how it works!
Ohiobucks
I've got a buddy that has one, it is pretty cool. Amazing how accurate it is. His has a diamond shape that you focus on the flag, hit the button, and *BAM* instant yardage. Good luck with yours Shaun.
muggs
IMHO, I don't like them. I personally like trying to guess yardage, windage, what club to hit just on my own. They do make sense though. If you think about it, a pro caddy knows exact yardages all over the course and that is a huge advantage for them.
Ohiobucks
You can download apps for most smart phones that do the same thing. My phone is due for a software upgrade this month, and that will be one of the first things installed after that takes place.
Tominator
Played on a course where they had a GPS on the cart, but that's as close as I've been to that thing. The way I play, I could have one of those, guess on the stick to use, and send a worm burner about 20 yards and have to pull it out again.
