Trigger
Hey guys, I've spent the last three days fishing for rainbows through the ice and all i've gotten is one swim by (when i was watching through the hole), I've tried small jig and minnows, baby crayfish grubs, others grubs spinner and minnow and that powerbait playdough stuff. What should i be trying and what advise can you give me???
Turkeygirl
I don't think I've fished for them through ice but one idea might be trying some egg sacks....It's a thought. The trout opener here, no ice obviously, but they were slamming the egg sacks. Can't hurt to try. Have you tried small worms or nightcrawlers yet? LifeNRA
If your still fishing ice, I would try small minnows on tipup's. Also, you can try jigging small spoons, kastmaters, jigs tipped with wax worms, mouses, or maggots.
