Tominator Posted April 18, 2010 Report Share Posted April 18, 2010 Pretty proud of my little girl. She's participating in track this year and she decided to pick up the shot. Mind you, she's never touched one prior to about 3 weeks ago, but as it turns out, she's pretty good at it. Yesterday she chucked the pill 27' 4" which was good enough for 3rd place and a medal. First place was 34', 2nd was 32' 5". Planning on putting her in the garden today to chuck out all the rocks that are over 3lbs, cuz dad's too old to be doing that. Story is, some rich guy in that town put it in his will when he died. They have a beautiful athletic facility, and the lowest paid teachers in the county.
