Slugger
My son Mason got his first kill ever sunday during indiana's youth turkey hunt. It was a bearded hen with an 8 1/4 inch beard. I was talking to a friend and he said that there was a record book for bearded hens and that 8 1/4 was long enough to get in. anyone ever heard of this?? not that I care to put an animal in "the books" but just thought it would be neat to see how big some of them really are here is a pic btw! Mason turned 7 on april 6th.
