Yard Equipment

I bought a new lawnmower this past Saturday. I've been using a hand me down Craftsman I got, but it cratered over the weekend. Went to Sears, Lowes, Home Depot, etc... and ended up buying a last years model Troy Bilt Super Bronco. I got it for $1100, which is below list by about $400, so I am pretty pleased with the purchase.

With all the rain we had over the weekend, I've not been able to ride around on it yet, but I'm looking forward to the first cut with the new ride.

Also, my birthday is coming up and my folks called and invited me and the fam out last night. When we get there, dad wants to go for a ride with me. He tells me to head to Lowes, so I do. We get there and he proceeds to buy me a new rototiller. This one to be exact.

I was excited to say the least. We had been borrowing his, and he said he was tired of me hauling his off.

JaLynn and I got a kick out of it since they're both the "Super Bronco" models. Hopefully I'm set for a while on outdoor power equipment.

That is the same tiller I have, have had it for about 6 or 7 years now I think, maybe been a few more than that.

Does a great job in our garden, which has been as big as a between 1/2 and 3/4 acre. Perfect size for running between rows, yet big enough to til a whole garden spot if you have the time for it. Only issues I have had with it has been the carb, figure it was bad gas though and no fault on the manufacturer. Ours has a 6 hp briggs though.

Sounds like you made out ok for your birthday, Happy Birthday.
