Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
So I bought one of these Apple iPads, and one of the features is the iBooks app where you can download books, kind of like an amazon kindle. I want to buy a few books, and figured I would come in here and ask for suggestions. They only one I have bought so far is Michael Waddells book. So what do you recommend? Diamond Archer 01
Any hunting book, lol. I really have nothing for you because I am really not a reader. I only read for my school projects that I have to do, lol.

bowhuntMN
"Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell. I'm reading it right now and cant put it down. It's the true story of a team of Navy SEALs that went into the hindu kush mountains in Afghanistan in 2005 to take out a high value target and the author, Marcus, was the only one to survive. It's probably the greatest story you'll ever read.
Adjam5
Check out Lone Survivor by Marcus Lutrell. It is a eye witness account of Operation Redwing and the Lost Heroes of Seal Team 10. This is one heck of a man...read about him. I was tipped of by a post here in the lounge about Marcus Lutrell a few months back. I Googled this guy and man oh man does this man have a story to tell. I bought his book, but have yet to get good and into it yet. Still finishing Waddels. Lone Survivor is next.

I posted a thread here a while back about Marcus and if it was mine that you read i'm glad i got you interested! I just started the book a few weeks ago but have been moved deeply by what he has to say. It has to be one of the most powerful stories of heroism and patriotism i've ever heard. You won't be disappointed
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Sounds good, I'll check it out. Most of the books on there let you download a free sample which is around 30 pages. I'll check it out before buying. Thanks
