Some good new and some not so good news Dakota's surgery went well and he is now back in his room. The doctor says Dakota may be able to go home later this week, but it all depends on how he does the next few days. The purpose of this surgery is mainly to treat his heart failure symptoms and to buy Dakota time before he has a heart transplant. The doctor says a heart transplant is pretty much going to be a certainty at some point, but at this point we just don't know when. This is difficult, but we know that God is in control and is working everything out for His glory. We are trusting Him! Thank you all so much for your prayers! My prayers are with him and his family. Steve, Tell Dakota that my dad said that he wants to finish the story that he started in WY. Dakota will know what I am talking about!
