Seen any new antler growth

I was trying to roost birds this past weekend when a bachlor group of bucks came out of the timber onto the CRP field that I was on. I sat down in the grass and watched the deer since I still had awhile before the turkeys roosted The biggest bodied deer feed to about 25 yards away from me:jaw:the biggest surprise is that I could easily see that he already has about 6 inches of growth on him already:jaw::jaw:I could not believe it. Just two weeks before that I was driving around with a buddy and we saw a 120 class buck with both sides yet. I don't understand why one deer can have so much growth and the other one still hasn't dropped his antlers yet??

Wow that's really weird. I have not seen any yet with growing.

I have one that's showing up on trail camera with about 3-4 inches, but the rest are not doing a whole lot.

Nearly hit a 1 year old buck this morning. He had tiny little nubbins starting.

I think he was eating fermented grapes or something. He stumbled when he hit the ditch, slipped a few times on the pavement, and nearly did a sumersault on the left side of the road has he tried to jump over a little blowdown.

A guy I work with says he saw several that were still sporting half of last years rack last week.

I have not yet but the landowner of a piece that I hunt said that he had 9 deer in his front yard last week. He could tell that 4 of them were bucks.

haven't been out a lot lately and when i was out i didn't notice anything. every deer is different i guess, but it's pretty late to still be carrying bone.

Yep, got one on the trail cam last week. Hes got some sprouting already-can't wait to see what they grow into. These trail cams are addictive for sure...

Well looks like there starting to grow already!!! Sweet! I left 1 stand up all year round. I may go sit in it tonight and see if I see anything at all. Hopefully see some with growing haha.

I had a few bucks on my camera last week that had an inch or two of antler growth.

I was struggling to find a shooter of a thunderchicken and I saw a buck. He had around 4 inches of growth.

I saw a buck last weekend in Ohio that was starting to branch on top and had bout 3 to 4 inch brows already I was amazed to see that. I've saw a couple bucks here in West Virginia that have 3 or 4 inches of growth starting.

I saw a giant of a deer 2 days ago out in a field at dusk. Had to have been a buck, but I was going by too fast and it was too dark to see any growth.

I'd like to go back there in June to see his progress.

Not yet. Have not had any bucks on cams yet either, but am down to just one camera now.

in the first week of May while turkey hunting we had two bucks come by that had about 10 inches of growth already.
