Hmmm.. that comment intrests me greatly. I was just wondering, do you have any idea of Vicks's stats with Atlanta? I trust you will review them, and then edit your comment. His passing percentage was very high compared to all other quarterbacks, and just because he faught dogs, he's in the doghouse. I don't quite know what planet this thread is on, but here on earth, we notice good quarterbacks and don't just jump on the bandwagon when someone does something stupid. I will not argue wether or not Tebow will be an MVP. I will however argue, that people MUCH smarter than you or I have made the decision that he is worth the pick. In seeing streamed practices, I have to agree. The fact that they would openly advertise him to compete for the starting posistion before he ever stepped on the field, has to mean something. All I know, is that there is not arguement he was/is one of the greatest college quarterbacks ever (heismans and stats prove it, and did I mention the championships?) I live in Jacksonville, and have followed Tebow from Neese high school locally. Even then, people knew he was going to be huge. Spikes visited Alabama during recruitment with Tebow, and when asked where he was going to school, Spikes answered wherever he is. Now, let's do your research on Spikes, see if his word's worth anything. :pop: Vick is :offtopic: so we'll go with Tebow. If nothing else, you will see that the move was Terrible for Jacksonville. Jax had the opportunity, and passed. Garrard will lead the team out of Jacksonville. Simple. Ticket sales are crap, have been for years, and just having Tebow on the roster, jag's cfo extrapulated 5000 season tickets sold immed. That, not Denver, was a stupid move. Jags had plenty to get what they needed defensively, but coming upon a quarterback, much less a good one, is not easy. The next NFL season will be the judge. I will definatly be back to conversate after we see a few pre-season games, and see how many edits of this thread there are. God Bless. Green Bay Packers select Tony Mandrich , Passing on a running back by the name of Barry Sanders. More than 20 years and I just can't get past it. NO DOUBT. Passing on Barry Sanders when they had the stats and film to know very well how ridicolous he was, well, was just Stupid. I can remember watching that draft with my Dad, and he about crapped when they selected Tony, everyone KNEW their pick was Barry. They lost their butt on that one. However, they've done quite well since, so I don't feel so bad for them. A good ol boy named Farve pulled em out everntually. By the way, there was a BUNCH of people who thaught Farve wasn't any good. Believe me 19 days in a coma and 45 days in rehab has changed my out look on life. Much respect Muggs. However, I'm a born and bred southern boy, I shoot from the hip, and if I offend anyone, let me know, and I'll knock it off. But as far as the debate, if I think you're lost, I'll let you know. Being I attend every home Gator's game, I don't think they'res anyone who's seen Tebow in action more than I have, and I know his capabilities, so I am going to debate the subject. We'll see how it goes. No offense to anyone though, don't make it like we're fist fighting, that's one of the things I do not like about a forum, they'res always someone ready to pop-off like they own the place.
