Sambar Hunter
Hey all, I'm consider buying a new bow These are the specifications that I would like in a new bow: -33 to 37 inch axle to axle range -Brace height 7 inches or more -315 to 330 fps -Preferably a single cam -Slim grip, but not that fussed. So a bow that is middle of the road, not to slow but doesn’t need to buy a rocket either. A bow that is forgiving and has great accuracy, a bow that is an all round deadly setup. And it’s not going to blow too big a hold in my wallet. Any advice would be greatly recomended. Cheers

m gardner
Since Ross went out of business their bows are a steal. Most for under $300.00. Mark

dbHunterNY
I bunch that fit or come really close to your description that I can think of are... PSE Axe7, PSE X-Force Vendetta XL, Diamond Stud, (if you can find one) left over Diamond Marquis, Hoyt Turbohawk, Mission Voyager, and Bear Attack. I shoot a TechHunter Elite that fits your description really well, but I don't believe there are any Gander Mountain stores where you are. You should probably test shoot what you want to get. If you can't really test shoot bows then I suppose it's an option, being you can order one online. Ask around for opinions though at least. Hope that helps. Osceola Slayer
A guy on AT has 2008 ROSS Cardiacs New In Box for sale at 285.00 tyd. These are great bows, I've got four of them in the exact same bow and these fit all your specifications you listed. Mid-range bows are easy. Stay in a pro shop, and not a box store. Look at Hoyt's Hawk line, Bowtech's Soldier, Mathews Mission Series, etc. A pro can help alot and let you shoot alot of diffent bows, we deal with it every day. Be careful with the Ross's, a buddy currently owns a CR331, and it's a great bow, but the warranty is out of the question, Bowtech or Quest are not going to warranty bows they didn't manufacturer, and any Ross you buy now is warranty void since there are no licensed retailers.
