Turkeygirl
Stearn's Mad Dog hunting clothing...how is it? I need a new jacket and found a Mad Dog Dead Silent Plus Jacket w/ 100 gram insulation on sale for $30...My Cabela's jacket zipper died on me... Anyway would use it for turkey hunting and early archery most likely....Is their clothing decent, quiet???

Prairiepredator
Never used it before but it seems good quality to me. I have tried mad dog jackets on in stores before and they will not fit me. Even if it is a 2XL or 3XL it will go as low as my waist...that is not the only brand that is like that for me. I have a hard time finding good hunting jackets because I usually need a tall size.
Crappiepro
I bought the granddaughter a Mad Dog light turkey hunting jacket in mossy oak. It seems really nice and its held the camo color well with out much fading over the last couple years.

Had no idea either it's an "Archer's Choice" jacket...Very quiet and comfortable, well made.
bluelund79
I don;t mind it, but they do run small-a large fits more like a medium. They do repel water nicely, but their zippers need to be better, that was fixed with a stop at the cleaners for a new one...Hope yours lasts and works well... Flintlock1776
I heard of it but not sure I saw it in any store I shop
hunterbobb
I've had one for about five years now. It is quite and does a great job of repelying the water. My experience has been the oppistie of blulund. Mine actually runs bigger than advertised. I have a 2XL and it fits more like a 3XL. The sleeves are so baggy I am afraid someday I will get my bowstring tangled in the sleeve. It hasn't happened yet though. Guess I should start wearing an arm guard with it.
