Turkeygirl
Pulled the Mossberg 500 20ga. Super Bantam out of the closet. Grabbed some shells, put up my target. Had the Red Dot scope on it from last year (actually took it off to use the barrel for deer). Well still dead on! Will post my pattern photos....shot at 25 yards and 30 yards and I have to say I'm impressed still....only took about 6 shots which for me, patterning, is really good:o Just wondering, should I clean the barrel again or leave it like it is? I had cleaned it awhile ago before I put it in the closet. I'm not sure if cleaning it again could alter the pattern any???
Guest bowhunter56
I often talk to some seasoned turkey hunters in alabama, it seems all guns are different, some work better clean some dirty, i guess you need to pattern clean, then pattern dirty, and see what works best, but i go for a clean barrel, like deer hunting, your may only get one shot, and its out of a cold clean barrel, not a hot dirty barrel.
