lilmisswtnhunt
Daddy (wthunt) hurt his back!!! He was moving some boards in the new house, and he twisted the wrong way. Last night he could barely walk, so our neighbor, who is a retired chiropractor, came and adjusted him. This morning he came and adjusted him again. He probably wont be able to sit at the computer for a couple of days. Could the mods please watch his rooms until he can get back on here? wtnhunt
Getting around a bit better today, really stinks not being able to do anything, too much to do to be gimpy. Thanks everyone for the well wishes and prayers. Wife and kids and the neighbor have been just great. Wishing we had a laptop, don't know how much I will get in here the next few days, but wanted to at least get a vote in for my buddy Mike and check in on Dakota and things here. Our neighbor says no working off a ladder for a good bit of time, my lumbar 3 and 4 were pretty messed up, said there is a good bit of scar tissue there from past injuries. The adjustments seem to be helping will probably be getting adjustments daily for the next few days. Could not walk at all Saturday, wife wanted to call an ambulance or take me to the hospital, thankfully the neighbor talked her out of that because I was about to the point I was going to let her make the call and I hate hospitals. Could not have come at a worse time, was hoping to have the house ready for our rough in in the next couple weeks, not a chance that is going to happen now. wtnhunt
bit of an update Neighbor(chiropractor) after last nights adjustment said he was impressed with the improvement and says I will probably be able to resume work on the house this weekend, however I am not supposed to get on a ladder and no heavy lifting yet and absolutely no twisting so gonna be pretty limited on what I will be able to do. Hopefully will be able to get back to being able to work off a ladder by next week but guess we will see. I know how much work he has ahead of him. It couldn't have happened at a worse time. Lots of work ahead for sure. Probably need to get around to posting some more recent progress pics.
aksheephuntress
....hoping you recover from this soon, William!... -the back can seem so long to heal... -good to hear you're taking it easy, even though there is so much to be done on the house.... -Thank the Lord it wasn't a worse injury!- (sounds like it was pretty serious, though...)
