6 years at Appalachian State University.

I had 12 hours to go to graduate with a degree in Business Management and decided to change majors 4 weeks before graduation. I switched to Industrial Drafting and Design and added two more years of school and thousands of more dollars to my loan, but it was well worth it.

So, I graduated with a degree in Industrial Drafting and Design. I then got a job at a small design firm drawing custome homes in the mountains of North Carolina. When the economy crashed, all vacation home buidling stopped. I could not wait around for jobs to come in and was unemployeed for 4 months. I finally took my searches all over the country and had a resume stick in Washington State. After a 2 hour phone interview, I had an offer letter in the mail. Once it got to me and I signed it, I realized my start date was in 2 weeks. I saw family and friends for 2 days and then packed up the little truck and headed west. I have now been in Wa. for 11 months and am now a Nuclear Designer. It's been a heck of an adventure and something I am glad I have done. I love my job but know this is not the place I will be forever. I am thinking of Brazil.....

Well since guys are answering too, why not. :D

Started my apprenticeship on my 16th birthday for Automotive Service Technician, as early as you can start it in Ontario. Graduated high school in 2004, Went to college 2004-2005 for Motive Power Tech, basic automotive program. Got hired in May 2005 at a GM dealership and started my GM apprenticeship. Went to school for 2 months at a time, once a year for 4 terms. Some terms were closer together than others which sped up the time. Moved to the GM dealer here in town in early 2006. Got my Automotive Technician licence on June 16th, 2008 at the age of 21. I'm still at the same dealer which I plan on staying for a long time. Currently an automatic transmission and engine specialist. Also do a lot of driveline work. I do everything but specialize in those areas. Love what I do!
