250 Spruce Trees

Recommended Posts

Dad and I got our hands on 250 spruce trees to plant. They are mostly around 12''-16'' tall. We are planning (hoping lol) to get them all in the ground tomorrow. We are going to put them along a creek that cuts through some open crop fields.

The creek already is kind of brushy, but we thought a few spruce trees could really make it a nice place for some critters to hide in in a few years.

That is good to know since we have 2000 Norway Spruce coming this weekend. Busy this weekend? :D

We have a tree planter coming.

I actually would come and give you a hand, but unfortunately I have to work weekends at the marina (and its my turkey period LOL). But only for 2 more weeks, I had another offer that I just couldnt pass up. So if you have any left to plant in a few weeks I could give ya a hand.

We didnt quite get all ours in today either. We are debating where to put the last 75 or so.

Thanks, but the planter should only take less than a day. Your extra 75 trees I would plant thicker in the same area you put the others. With the dry summers we have been having, some are bound to die.

Congrats on the job.
