I noticed that most people on the website here are always talking about Gold tip arrows. I know thats what you all shoot and most likely what you all would suggest to others b/c thats what you all like. But im just wondering why Gold tips and whats all the hype about?

The arrows are not that superior to all others are they?

Just an observation i have noticed haha, just want to know why everyone is shooting those, im almost embarssed to shoot my PSE Radial X-weaves haha .

Re: whats all the hype about Gold tip arrows?

I think it is mostly because that

1) their quality has greatly improved in recent years

2) there are many sources out there for purchasing them

3) thier pricing has become very reasonable

4) people like myself have been shooting them for a while, not had any problems, so just pass on the good word about them.

I'm not saying they are better or worse than any other arrows, but they've served me well, so why change.

Very strong and durable.

Great tolerances. Much better than a certain slim arrow for the same price. smirk.gif

Just can't go through the day without bashing the Axis arrows. Even when it is a thread about another arrow and you have no personal experience with them...hum. You need to just put "Axis arrows suck" in your signature to save the typing. If you don't like them because of hear say then fine but it gets old listening to you bash them in every thread.

I think what makes the Gold Tips stand out above the other carbons, is their Quality per Dollar. They have some of the best tolerances out there, and a dozen 55/75 XT Hunter shafts can be had for $54.95. That's my main reason for shooting them. Plus they seem to be extremely durable.
