We had a small one a few years ago. A huge tractor went up the road at about the same time and we felt vibrations in the house, we thought it was the tractor but the tractor has gone up the road before and we haven't felt and vibrations. Well a day or two later, someone said we had a small earthquake which explains it! The farmer who lets us hunt on his land, he has a fault line I think running through his land somewhere.

I went through the one in '89 in CA! That was not fun! It seemed as if the whole house was picked up and then shook like a dog shakes a rag!

No thank you, I don't want to go through any more like that one!

I have been through dozens of other ones, but that one was terrible!

[ QUOTE ]

Felt a grand total of one little one way back in the early 1980's while I was watching TV. It was weird.

I spent 3 months in California, right on top of the San Andreas, but never felt one out there.

I remeber that one Chirs, I was just a little boy but that memory is still clear. I remember being scared. grin.gif
