You can't make up stuff this good. I just talked to my brother-in-law and he filled me in on the family news seeing I live a ways away. His boy lives with my mom and has a registered beagle. Well my mom has a little teacup poodle she got from some rescue thing and it was neutered. He tried to breed the beagle to another registered beagle so they could sell them but it didn't go very well and not much seemed to happen. His beagle began to swell up soon after so he was very surprised and happy and counting the cash already. Everyone was real surprised when the puppies looked like funny little poodle type thingys. The boy is very upset and mom is confused. Everybody else thinks it's pretty darned funny.:D

Sorry to be a "Debbie Downer" but I'd suggest to them to have the dogs they don't intend to breed to be spayed or neutered. Irresponsibility such as this (backyard breeders) and puppy mills are the reason why there are so many dogs in shelters now. :(

Just my two cents.

A few years ago the "Puggle" was supposed to be the hottest thing going in the northeast. Amazing what folks come up with

Yup!

Puggle, Labradoodle, Schnoodle, Pug-a-Poo, Maltipoo, etc. and they charge big bucks for them when all they are is a mutt that you could go adopt for $100 or so at a local shelter or rescue. Very sad. :(
