Read the directions!

Im working on the irrigation system for our massive garden (up to around 1,000 plants). Yesterday I finally got to flip on the pump... nothing happened.

Come to find out "Discharge" means something different when you take the time to slow down and really read the directions. Yep, have it hooked up backwards.... :p

Now I get to pickup some elbows and couplings and re-route some plumbing tonight. :bang:

Men don' need no stinking instructions! :pop:

If they put Playboy pin-ups on each page of those instructions, then and only then would men read them first!

I'm like Shaun. I only read the instructions after all else fails and I'm stumped......which happens more often then not!

Problem solved. I picked up a few elbows and couplings this week. Last night after I worked for a few hours I ran out and re-routed everything.

I had problems getting it to prime but finally held my hand firmly over the discharge and let it build up pressure. Once that happened it blew like and old time oil well! Things working great now.... I guess it helps if you put the right pipe in the right hole :p
