Hoosier Hunter
I'm in the market to upgrade from my point and shoot camera and get an EOS. I would like it for mainly wildlife photos, like deer and turkey out in corn fields and such. I'm looking at the Canon Rebel XS. I definately want something around the Rebel's price. Will the Rebel be good enough for what I want it for? What lenses kit will I need to reach out in the fields? Any advice appreciated, thanks in advance. Jorden
Dont know how much you are willing to spend but this is like the camera I have and it comes with a 300mm lense which is great for zoom and stuff. This package would probably be perfect for you. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/589104-REG/Canon__EOS_Rebel_XS_a_k_a_.html The 55mm lense that comes with most of the cameras is a base lense and doesnt offer much in the way of zoom so you will need a lense in the 200-300mm range if you are going to be taking wildlife pics and stuff. I love the SLR cameras, picture quality is much better than others IMO. Also B&H probably offers some of the best prices so I would definately look there.
