Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=5163285 Like other long time Tiger fans, I grew up listening to him on the radio along with his stint on TV as the Tigers broadcaster. It's a sad sad day...but he is in a better place now.
Nut
I listened quite often to him on the radio. Many times I turned the sound off on televised games to listen to him instead. LOved the voice and mannerisms.
AdvantageTimberLou
Pure class, that is what Ernie was. I grew up listening to him call the games.....still love saying, its Loooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnggg Gone! He will be missed, he was what a broadcaster should be. May God comfort his family and friends during this very difficult time.

muggs
Him and Vin Scully were the two best. Pretty sad news. He left quite a legacy, guess that's really all you can hope for.
