Jeramie Posted May 6, 2010 Report Share Posted May 6, 2010 Since i got my diagnoses with fatty liver ive really been watching what im eating. It seems to be working. The bad part is I just bought a bunch of slacks and now they are HUGE.... When I started I tipped the scales at 212, actually 208 when the doctor told me to get after it. I have now been at 195 for two weeks! I still have a long way to get to my goal but im headed the right direction! The doctor demanded I lose 25lbs in a year so by his calculations I have another 12lbs to loose by March of 2011! Im well on my way in roughly 2-2.5 months! Dakota Posted May 6, 2010 Report Share Posted May 6, 2010 Good for you Jeramie! I'll admit, I've been losing weight too. At one point, I think my heaviest was 177 but before I had all the heart issues lately I was holding pretty steady at 160 and, since all this heart stuff has come about and I had surgery in the past month, I'm down to 145 and dropping! coles Posted May 6, 2010 Report Share Posted May 6, 2010 Man, Im going the opposite way of you guys. Weighed 145-150ish when I moved down here to Missoula last January. Just weighed myself the other day and im up to 187! Havent been real active since its been a long nasty winter/spring but Ill be working outside all summer so hopefully I lose a bunch of the flab! Tony Posted May 6, 2010 Report Share Posted May 6, 2010 good job jeramie. its all about watching what you eat and just staying active. i lost 40 pounds last year for my wyoming trip. i felt the best i ever have. then winter hit here and i gained 35 pounds. i just got lazy because i had hit my target weight and i figured i could cheat a little. so now i am also back into my cardio sessions and watching what i eat. im down 7 pounds in just 1 week. my goal is 195 pounds and maintain it. hutchies Posted May 6, 2010 Report Share Posted May 6, 2010 Congrats jeramie..............I decided about 2 months ago that I'm tired of being this size. Stopped cokes all together. Watching what I eat and walking/jogging. I jog til I'm out of breath and then walk til I regain my wind and go again. Been going about 5 to 6 nights a week 3 miles. Lost about 15 in the last month. Weighing in right now about 255 but I've gained alot of muscle from jogging. Had to put some new holes in my belt to hold my jeans up. The Marine Corps tells me I can't be over 208, and I weighed in at 204 last week. I'm hoping to get down to about 195 and stay between there and 200.
