Jeramie
Looks like tornado season has arrived Full Bloom. Our local news is reporting that we should have a very, very bad night starting about 3:00pm. Tons of twisters and the ones that touch down will be on the ground for long periods of time. They have also announced that due to the possible magnitude of tonight’s storm, scientists are conducting the largest study of tornados ever. Over 100 scientists will be manning over 60 storm chasing vehicles in hopes of learning more about tornadic storms. This should be interesting…

Jeramie
Here is the latest.... http://krmg.com/localnews/2010/05/severe-weather-outbreak-possib.html KRMG, Local News: TULSA, Ok. - Storms are on the horizon for northern and northeast Oklahoma this afternoon through early tomorrow morning. Bart Haake with the National Weather Service says the best chance for a tornado would be along and northwest of the I-44 corridor. He says, as the system moves across the area tonight, it probably would evolve into a squall line that would move across the rest of eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas overnight. Haake says the storms could start west of Tulsa in Osage and Pawnee Counties in the late afternoon and in the Tulsa area starting around 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. and thereafter. Haake says the Storms Prediction Center has Tulsa in the high-risk category today.

The_Kat
Update....Aunt's house is gone, cleaned right off the foundation. A large grocery store nearby was also leveled with tons of people trapped and one confirmed death. Mom and dad are still in the cellars, dad peeked out long enough to know that the big tree by my old room is now in my room. Jenn, Cash, and my family in Texoma are in cellars with reports of 5 1/4 diameter hail and a large wedge tornado on the ground just east of Kingston and is tracking right for the points that Bryan and I's house sit on. Praying like a sonovagun that it misses and the weather channels are wrong!

Dakota
Holy Crap! That one near Norman is HUGE! That's gotta be at least an F3 if not F4!
The_Kat
My house made it through ok. I'm pretty sure hutch is ok too, but I can't get ahold of him. The neighborhood that weather channel keeps showing with the yellow mustang in the driveway of all the nice homes that are destroyed is my aunts house. What a crappy way to be on national tv! hutchies
We made it thru safe...........Mom saw 4 touchdown from her back deck. 3 of them were all coming at once a her place and I was on the phone with her when her phone died. Freaked the crap outta me. Lifted at the last minute about a mile from mom's. Kyle we had 2 come just north of us. Loud as heck and hail about quarter sized. One of the girls at work got a pic on her phone of the one northwest of Durant.

Gator
Sorry to hear about your aunt's house Kyle, I know exactly where that grocery store is, I was just in there Sun, it's about 11 miles north of me. I had a twister about 2.5 miles south of me, I actually went into the cellar for a little while, first time ever for me. The wind leading up to this thing hitting was ten times worse that after it passed, it just layed down
