I don't know what kind of fighting it is, but isn't there enough anger and fighting in this country and world, with out going to go see it and getting pleasure out of it..

I have been to a few local fights, and went to Strikeforce in St. Louis last year. Actually the local fights cost more to get into than the Strikeforce fight, which was televised. If you're an MMA fan you should go check it out. Not all the fights are as exciting on the local level. You'll probably see more wrestling and jiu jitsu, but if you have an understanding of what's going on it's still cool to watch.

I love watching it on tv and would love to see a UFC fight in person. I don't watch too many of the pro fights now-days because i get super pissed off when the fighter i wanted to win gets knocked out or tapped and the crowd cheers. It's like the feeling where your team loses and your stuck in a crowd of people who were cheering for the other team ya know? I mostly just watch The Ultimate Fighter show on Spike because the fights are low key and the only crowd noise is coming from the coaches and the teammates, not a bunch of drunk fans.

If i were you, i'd give it a try. I know some people who have gone to amateur fights in the area and they love it. I think with the smaller crowds you get a more in depth look at the sport, rather than just a show for entertainment.

i'd rather watch it on television than go. but that's just me.

Too many dbags in TAPOUT shirts with their pants hanging and their hats on sideways screaming like idiots in a drunken state spilling beer for me to go. Much more comfy on my couch...

I've come to realize that the more TAPOUT and MMA gear, t-shirts and hats a person wears... the less experience they actually have in martial arts. Its like a "stay away from me, because I think I am bad... I know one takedown and a rear naked choke".

I agree... way to many drunken tough guy idiots there. Have budddys that went and they said it was brutal.

Well there won't be alcohol. It's in an alcohol-free facility. I'm planning on going. Should be interesting.
